Ahh..Finally!
Spring is just around the corner; now I am able to get out and do more walking. Living in Florida does have it’s advantages 😉 We have had some rather chilly days, so I am looking forward to warmer weather.
One thing that always draws my attention are the homes that I walk by. I’ve always had this fascination with Doors! I love to see entrances to homes that are cleverly decorated or designed with character and style. It’s like you’re getting a chance to unwrap a gift when you see a welcoming cheerful home with an entrance that makes a statement. You can tell when a home has “heart” by the way it is decorated.
With spring just around the corner, this is the perfect time to start thinking about how to dress up your entryways. Here are five suggestions on what you can do to enhance your entrance areas.
1) Use a “POP” of color on your entry door. Good Feng Shui colors are Red, Orange, Green, and Blue

2) Add some personality with unusual door numbers, wind chimes or door pulls

3) Clear away debris and add fresh foliage/flowers

4) Add a place to rest; a lovely bench or chair with some bright pillows 😉

5) Create quality lighting
A well lighted entry way is welcoming at night; even something as simple as these candles give off a warm glow
